HUMILITY AND GRATITUDE
ToWhen a person longs for recognition from someone or even from an entire society for what he does and finally achieves it, that person is not virtuous but has only found some personal satisfaction in it, and probably feels fulfilled.
True virtue is found in doing what one believes one should do in any situation, out of one's own conviction, without expecting anything in return, thinking only that their actions will lead to improving that situation both for themselves and for the rest of the people with which it interacts.
The virtuous person knows for sure that when he detaches himself from the expected results and does not worry about the benefits that may come to him, it is when he receives much more than he can imagine, because he knows that he is correctly applying the formula that leads him to the precipitation of everything he longs for, even of his own virtue. Moreover, he knows that he does not need anyone's recognition but that his highest goal will be to recognize himself at all times. When you really know who you are, you get the highest degree of recognition that no one can ever attribute or assign to you. You will be grateful to yourself even before you have obtained anything.
